GTI Management |
GTI was founded on the premise of integrity, hard work and service. Founded by Michael Griffie and Stephen Tino, GTI is poised to service the industrial, power and electrical industries throughout the Midwest. As President of GTI, Mr. Griffie's background has encompassed the electrical contracting and services business through his ownership of M-Pact Corporation, a full service, union electrical contracting entity with a previous presence in the electrical distribution business through EM Supply, Inc., a wholly owned operating subsidiary. Mike has been involved in the electrical-mechanical business for 30 years beginning as a union electrician to ultimately starting his own company in 1989. His company is currently providing services to several large projects in and around the Greater Cincinnati area. Mike's company was awarded Minority Supplier of the Year recognition by the South Central Ohio Minority Business Council in 2001, and was also listed as one of the Top 500 Diversity Owned Company's in America by Diversity.Com in 2002. Mr. Tino is the Vice President and Secretary of GTI and recently sold a highly successful pipe, valve and fitting distribution company that he founded to Ferguson Enterprises, a multi-national wholesale distribution company serving the mechanical trades worldwide. His company, Pipe Products, Inc., was a wholesale distributor focused on the power and petroleum markets. With sales revenues in excess of $80 Million annually, Pipe Products was one of the larger privately held PVF businesses in the Midwest. Over the last 30 plus years Steve has been involved in the wholesale distribution business beginning as a sales representative and then starting and building Pipe Products, Inc. from the ground up. The current managers of GTI have a proven track record of success in the distribution business. The intention of GTI is to serve its customers with the highest service available at the most economical prices while adding value to every interaction. GTI has filed a certification request with the South Central Ohio Minority Business Council to be considered as a Minority Business Enterprise.
